LIFE MEMBERSHIPS
Any member in good standing in the Lodge of Perfection of their Valley may purchase a Life Membership and be relieved of the further payment of Dues.
Contact your Scottish Rite Secretary, for exact amounts that will be due, to purchase your Perpetual Life Membership.
Payment arrangements can be made through the Valley Secretary or by contacting the Supreme Council to make credit card payments. The Supreme Council will accept credit cards and set up monthly payments directly from your account, to relieve any worries about forgetting to make the payments. Upon receipt of the full amount of the Life Membership, the Supreme Council will forward the amount to the Valley for investment in the Life Membership Accounts. These Life Membership Investment accounts allow for only the interest to be used for the Valley’s purposes, leaving the principle untouched.
This is an excellent way to eliminate the worries of paying annual dues, and help the Valley by increasing the investment capabilities.

MAIL DELIVERY PROBLEMS
Brothers, as the cost of mailing letters through the U.S. Postal Service increases, so too do the costs of forwarding mail to your address, if it has changed without the Temple Office knowing of the change. The USPS has forwarded mail for the Temple, for fees from an additional $.70 to $1.40 PER LETTER. This means that a notice may have cost you and your Temple up to $1.77 to mail a one page letter.

Scottish Rite Reunion
The next Scottish Rite Reunion will be on Saturday, April 26, 2008.
Registration will be on Friday, April 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, before the Scottish Rite Degrees start at 8:00 a.m..
If you are already a 32° Scottish Rite Mason, then you are CORDIALLY INVITED to view the degrees again! We will confer the 4th, 14th, 18th, 30th and 32nd Degrees.
For Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite or Shrine petitions, contact either the Fort Scott Scottish Rite Temple at 620-223-1330, 110 South Main, in Fort Scott, or the Mirza Shrine Temple at 1-800-794-6554, located at 110 W. 5th Street in Pittsburg, Kansas.
INITIATION RATES
Currently, the initiation rates with Dues and Reunion Registration fees are as follows: for THIS SPRING CLASS:
Scottish Rite: $100 plus prorated dues of $56.00 = $156.00. Under Age 32: fees are $106.00 (a $50.00 discount to younger men)
